Hi, sorry for bothering the community, but I have a question I can’t seem to find a definitive answer to.

I had a Samsung Galaxy A33 which I decided to upgrade from, and found a local shop where I could trade the old phone for cash. However in their instructions it states that you need to first log out of all of your accounts and then do a factory reset. Instead of that I had just directly done the factory reset through the settings as that I thought was also removing all accounts.

But then I remembered about activation lock. Is there a chance the next owner will be prompted to enter one of the passwords I’ve used in the past in order to be let into the phone?

If you went through settings, it should be fine. That counts as an authorized reset.
