Just buy all of the profile customisation things that you want.
The seasonal profile sets are often quite nice. Avatar frames too. But it’s all cosmetic.
I bought an index, a steam deck, and hundreds in games and had around 200k steam points
I still have over 100k, I’ve been spending them on profile displays, profiles, startup animations, and awards
Depression kicks in when you realise you have more points than that and ouu only have one steam deck.
I had that much off of games alone…now i feel bad…but i spent all of mine on profile shit, made the background and shit nice, and then blew alot of profile expansions.
I have 350k from buying games, have no idea what is it for. I just give rewards for posts to ppl 😂

Why not just use it like Reddit Gold? If you happen to stumble upon a genuinely good game review, guide, forum post, or artwork, you can give it a neat award to make the user’s effort just a little bit more worthwhile :)
I bought a few start up animations that end with the regular logo and shuffled them, gives the deck a bit more charm for me
