Control Ultimate Edition, RoboCop, Like a Dragon Gaiden, and a couple big games are crashing during cutscenes. A lot of games that are verified. I turn down graphics settings, I use proton, all just crash.
Smaller games that are less intense aren’t having this problem but AAA games are. Wondering if I need to send it to valve (I am using an installed SSD so don’t know if that voids it).
Sounds like you do have an issue. Valve will expect the unit back with all OEM hardware. Before you send it back, put the OG drive back in.
Question, do you have the option, “enable updated Fan controls” on in settings?
I played through control ultimate entirely on deck, can confirm that it runs beautifully with ProtonGE (which has video codecs Valve proton doesn’t) - cut scenes and all.
This issue was fixed! I had to drop the frequency of the GPU clock. If you’re having an issue, try that maybe.
