I have a dual SIM android, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 6Pro (thats a mouth full…think I got it all lol) and was curious because I contacted my carrier and they are telling me the device is not a “true” dualSIM…it has the IMEI1 and IMEI2 under the battery…so I assumed I could set up my “work line” and my “private line” on the same phone…? Rather than juggling 2 phones?

pardon the flair…? didn’t see the X Cover listed unless they have their own subreddit? I know it’s kind of a “niche” device

I think it has one physical sim and one esim.

You can set up your own phone on standard sim and “work phone” on esim and they’ll work together, I had that setup on my s22u for a while (when I was trying to change networks and wanted to find which has better signal etc). One was tmobile (physical) and esim was orange.

Iirc you can have stored more than 1 esim but only esims won’t work together, you can have active only one at the time. But combo of sim + esim should work fine
