I primarily use my deck by running a game on my PC, then streaming to the Deck via Sunshine/Moonlight. This gives me amazing battery life, and allows me to run higher settings, etc. I have it set so when I launch Playnite through Moonlight, it changes my resolution on my PC to 1280x800 and streams Playnite, from which I launch whatever game I want. When I want do the same thing but play on my TV, I usually stream via Moonlight to my Nvidia SHIELD changing my PC resolution to 2560x1440, or 4k.

So far so good. However, I just got a dock for my Deck. I’d now rather stream via Moonlight to my Deck, and have the Deck output to the TV. My question is, when the Deck is docked, will it basically be taking in the stream at 1280x800, and just upscaling it to 1440/4k? Or will it actually take my PC’s resolution and feed it to the TV directly, the way the Shield does? Does this question make any sense? Basically I’m wondering if it would still be better to stream to my Shield for TV use, or if using the Deck would give me the same visuals…Thanks for any insight!

Go to desk top left click screen(any where not a icon) go to display setting from there then adjust your monitor there.
