So it looks like Snapdragon X is legit and that Ryzen and Core mobile processors aren’t that great. It’s unfortunate they don’t have the M3 Max, considering the M3 Pro is underwhelming—supposedly not much faster than an M2 Pro.
A full Blender comparison would have been useful since that’s one of the best tests for real world usage (I do 3D work).
What would be great is a comparison of these benchmarks with thermal output and fan noise.
No. As long as Windows still dominates x86, Intel and AMD have nothing to be worried about.
Not saying Windows is a good product, nor Intel and AMD deserve the market share they have, but that’s just the reality.
People who buy macs will stick with macs. People who use windows will stick with windows. Id say only Qualcomm needs to be worried, considering the abysmal state of windows on arm and the fact that Microsoft has zero reason to invest in it, due to their codependence on x86 software and gaming,compared to apple who transitioned their entire lineup.
Nah. Performance is nice, but the asking price is too high. The M1 was disruptive because it had the whole package: performance, battery and competitive price.

Damn, we’ve become so bored with phones. I never took any time to check what chip is in my phone but what features it had and if it worked well.
