I saw the post from a month ago about a wifi upgrade to the Deck. Does any know when the deck with wifi 6e will probably be released? I want to buy a steam deck but if the deck with wifi upgrade will take more than 6 months to release than I’ll buy the deck now but if it’s less than 6 months I’ll probably wait. I’m in Australia so we don’t have the deck officially here. Just 3rd party sellers. Also is wifi/bluetooth the only upgrades? If so I don’t mind paying somebody to upgrade the wifi chip later on.
I own a deck, and I can confidently say that even if I paid $1000 for it, I would not be regretting the purchase. The retail price on these devices is insanely low for what you get, so even if there is a slight markup in your market, I think it’s worth it.
