On top of what the other guy said, looking at PDFs on a display running at 1hz vs 40hz shouldn’t make a big difference in battery life. My understanding is the biggest battery drainers on a device like this are the display’s backlight, APU, and RAM
So lowering your brightness would give a bigger improvement than refresh rate.
