I’m trying to play my Steamdeck on a monitor using the dock. However when I run a game everything seems to run in a small window that takes up maybe a third of the screen? It’s not in windowed mode and I’ve spent the the morning fiddling with resolution settings.
I’m sure this hasn’t always been the case as I’d managed to play Rimworld on the monitor before so I’m not sure what has happened or changed?
I’m pretty tech illiterate so any help would be appreciated.

where you changing res in game settings or steam game settings? I had same problem and change resoluton to native in steam setting fix problem for me. You can also try … button and check profil for game
How do I can he the steam game settings?
Go to game, there is gear icon next to launch. That’s steam game settings.
There is button that show list with resolutions with name default. Try change to native or res you have in monitor.
