I’m gonna buy a steam deck soon but unfortunately, most of my pc games are from the Epic Games launcher. Now i alrway know that you can download the EG launcher on the deck through desktop mode, but what i wanted to know is if the deck reads games downloaded through the EG launcher differently than games downloaded through the steam store?

Lets say, i download Spider-Man Remastered (a steam deck verified game) through the EG launcher. Will the deck read it or run it the same as if i downloaded through the steam store?
