So yeah, ebay lured me in with a redeemable code for electronics, which made the watch 6 a great deal. The watch and packaging look very professional, but is there a way to make sure this isn’t a fake? Plus, when turning the watch on, it tells me ‘galaxy watch6 (RS5H)’

If your gonna buy something from ebay, always check the seller rating first. It’s a pretty good way to tell if a seller is trustworthy or not.
Exactly. Not to mention, they have an authenticity guarantee so I would def be coming after them if there is an issue.
Does the Galaxy Wearable app show Watch 6 when you connect the watch to your phone?
You can also try to register your device here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00089142/ , although, if it’s used, there’s a chance it could already be registered.
Afaik, RS5H is the current firmware version.
