Before WatchOS 10.1, there was a feature of double tap to dismiss the notification which used to appear as soon as you receive a notification on the watch. Not sure if it was limited to only S9 but it did use to work before watchOs 10.1 ( I think on 10.0.1? or 10.0) . Now to achieve this double tap to dismiss notification, it requires 3 extra steps using the new double tap feature.

It stopped working after updating the watch, it wasn’t related to assistive touch I believe. Does anyone have any idea if that gesture can be achieved again?

Ikr! The number of steps to perform a specific operation has increased too. I was used to that double tap to dismiss notifications and it was very convenient too. The new double tap just scrolls the notification and then selects the first option that is present at the bottom of the notification, be it dismiss/reply/archive(for mails). It’s frustrating, needs more customisations even though the feature is good.
