Has anyone else had an issue with 40% of bands not locking on both sides of the watch? Even the stock band, one side won’t lock in. Should I take my watch back?

I noticed this with my Ultra last year after buying it when using most non-Ultra bands, particularly sport bands. What helps for me is to kind of press the band away from the locking mechanism as you slide it in, as if you were pushing it up (e.g, away from where your wrist would be) - that seems to help it catch for me.
