Yeah it’s really shitty and anti consumer of Valve - a company which is known to be pretty pro consumer - to do this. I definitely feel very shat on and have lost a bit of trust in them. When the NEXT next model comes out I won’t be buying it so quickly.

I’m curious for disassembly of this to see if there’s a way to just buy the OLED screen for what we have today or if it’s not cost effective.

Yeah you’d lose the better CPU but I know many were clamoring for an OLED screen

Feels like there’s a lot of Valve dick riding considering the sale thing was quite scummy
