“New Model” - This means a whole new steam deck. New CPU, new GPU, new ram, new storage options, new screen with a different resolution, new control/ler, different battery, different ports, etc. Like the difference between a PlayStation 4 and a PlayStation 5.

“Refresh” - this means the SAME model with small modifications. New screen OR new controls OR new storage options, etc. like the Switch, Switch OLED, or Switch Lite.

“Revisions” - These are the same console and are ongoing changes under the hood that mostly go unnoticed unless you open the device, like a different model wifi chip that fixes a connection issue, or a new heat shield that helps with over heating. Nearly all devices under go revisions, but they are the same exact device.

So many people have absolutely no idea what they are talking about then go make a post all pissed off thinking they’ve been lied to when in fact they are just illiterate. I hope this helps a bit.
