And now it’s 50 bucks cheaper than it was on sale PLUS I could’ve just gotten a 512gb OLED instead for just a bit more??? Seems kind of messed up of Valve to discount a soon to be obsolete product without telling anyone the refresh is right around the corner. They really made it seem like the steam deck upgrade would be years away… Is it wrong to feel robbed?
I agree with this sentiment. I bought it in the last sale and got it delivered at the end of September.
I too believed that the refresh is a long way off and nothing major (just WiFi 6e).
It would be quite nice if there is an upgrade program for people who bought the deck so close to this new release. I’d gladly pay a bit to upgrade.
