So the Deck OLED just got announced. Big news. I was wondering if there were any screen replacements for the LCD model that are an OLED screen (that are as good or better in quality than the stock screen). I’ve seen the 1200p upgrade, but that defeats the point of the deck. I want to know if there are good 800p OLED screen upgrades. OLED has the possibility to up battery life on the Deck (likely not by much but anything is a step in the right direction). Don’t want to buy a whole new Deck because buying the 64gb model was a strain on my wallet already.
Much of the internals are different, so it’s not just a swap. They mentioned in an interview that the parts from the OLED are not a simple swap.
