Just wondering if there’s a side by side comparison for this so far anywhere! Would be interesting to see and haven’t found one in a review yet

    Don’t really need to see a side by side when the specs of each display will tell you what you need to know. No amount of software tweaks with the LCD are going to make it look as nice as the OLED. Especially without local dimming to improve contrast.

    Running SteamOS in the preview channel gets you some improvements, but it’s still nowhere close to as vibrant as an OLED will be.

    That said, if you’re engrossed in a game and aren’t pixel peeping, the LCD looks fine with the changes in SteamOS 3.5. You’ll know it’s not an OLED but it won’t keep you from playing.
