After a very unfortunate incident involving a concrete floor and the screen of a Pixel 6a, I bought my brother’s S22 off him after he had switched to a Pixel 6 after only a few months of having it. I’m liking it, but I unplugged it at 7:30 AM and it was completely flat by 12:20 PM. It was sitting in a drawer for about 2-3 months with a 80% charge. After one full 0%-100% cycle it seemed to have lasted longer, but I am currently charging it again as it went flat.

I’m wondering if the battery is completely cooked, or if I just need to give it time to re-calibrate and let the phone figure itself out.

Phone needs time to build up the cache again and learn the charger, discharge cycles, not to mention user habits. Give it 7 days, if not back to normal consider new battery.
