If it were me and I could do that swap for sure I would. But that said if you could get the original at like half the price or something (or a partial refund/discount), I’d prob say that’s a better route to go. Tho I gotta say, almost all the upgrades are a total slam dunk for me, better battery, lighter weight, better screen etc… but still I’d wait for a Deck 2 and would prefer having the base model for now. Having a base model is a downgrade obviously, but most of the important hardware is the same and there will be more people who have it and so it’ll generally have better community support and mod-ability and whatnot etc.
