So I’ve been looking to buy a steam deck for some time now but it was kinda hard due to financial issues. Fortunately I found a guy who sells his 512gb steam deck for an affordable price. Ofc, I was suspicious so I contacted him and asked him for specifics. He says he bought it about 4 months ago and used it for about 70-100 hours. He says there are no damage and I find it kinda easy to believe since he sells it with a silicone protective case. He also says no bugs and I find that pretty easy to believe too considering how he only had for 4 months. He also says he made to keep it safe. I asked if he messed with the hardware at some point and he replied that he didn’t. He also said he hasn’t installed another operating system and that he sells in the same condition that he bought it. He also sent a video of him turning on the deck and playing a game and it seems to run pretty fine.

Is there anything else I should ask him before buying?

You forgot the most important part: price. It sounds decent enough based on your description, but if it’s not priced competitively, then it’s not worth it.

You can get a brand new 512GB LCD model for $449 now. That’s $200 cheaper than what he paid for it originally, so there’s going to be a desire to not go low enough.

Since it’s only 4 months old and still has a warranty, $400 might be reasonable, but that would be pushing it, in my opinion.
