A lot of people on this sub are far too materialistic. The WHINING over ordering the LCD deck the day before and, ugh “maybe I can return it and get the better one.” It’s all the same shit. It’s a handheld console, there’s only so much they can do with them.

You all need to take a collective breath and be happy with what you have. Not only that, but I see so much “wow, I own the ROG Ally and the Ayan Neo and the steam deck” holy shit, that goes beyond the scope of consumerism and enters some very weird money wasting territory.

It’s gross. Stop fucking wasting your money and be happy with what you have. No one is holding a gun to your head going “BUY THE OLED DECK NOW.”

You’re not going to miss out on anything by not getting one.

    Just ignore them… it’s not that hard. Making this post you just got at their same level. You cannot stop what other people want to say in comment and this post only makes flames of anger.

    What is happening in this sub is fairly normal: people wants the new steam deck and are eating their own fingers for not waiting before buying one.

    There is nothing wrong to admit this.

    What are you on about lol people can get more for literally almost the same price, you can see why people are having a bit of a whine when they purchased a couple days ago or couple weeks ago they could of just had a newer model lol, it’s not materialistic, it’s a hobby for people and they want what they pay for.

    It’s not just this sub only, it’s a pretty widespread issue, microtransactions, sales, fomo, etc. For whatever reason people cannot wait to spend their money on whatever thing they see to some degree, and half of the people that complain about it, buy the things they complain about when nobody is looking at them.

    It’s just consumerism on a nutshell.
