As the OLED model as now been announced, I believe a lot of people (myself included) will be looking to off load some of the price for a new model by selling their current one.
The question is like to propose is what do we feel like a fair resell price would be for used consoles? As an example my current model is a 64gb version with an upgraded 1tb drive. After 6 months of use I would say that personally this would still be worth right about the new 350 starting price of the regular 64 gb version.
What would everyone else expect resell prices to look like for different models now that the new line has been revealed?
It would be really cool if Valve accepted your Decks for trade-in and sold them as refurbished
Yeah in a similar boat mines only a month old and feel frustrated at the no returns trade in option. Happy to get a lower trade in and end up paying more but it should be an option no where really to sell in the uk apart from Facebook, cex and eBay. Cex would be fine if it was store credit but they will sell the new one at extravagant prices and there’s nothing else I would pay the credit for.
valve themselves are discounting the old versions, and they are also selling refurbished units with 20% off, sadly prices will get quite low
