With the refresh rate being 90hz, would we be able to set it to 80hz, and lock FPS at 40?

40hz on my LCD model causes me headaches due to the flickering, so I stopped using it. I also found that with some games, it would still draw considerably more power than 30 fps, making the fan louder.

But with the new Deck being more efficient, bigger battery, more silent fan… Being able to lock FPS at 40 and set the screen refresh to 80… Sounds amazing in my mind?
