Basically the title. I have a laptop with 200 and something GB of storage but a lot of high-storage games I want to play. With everything else on my laptop, I can only have one game installed at a time. Will getting an external hard drive help add storage space or do I need to buy a laptop with more GB? Thanks.

You can get an external (known as a HDD), but it won’t run as quickly as an SSD, and you may consequently get performance issues. As one example, I have a modded Fallout 4 playthrough on my HDD, and every time I walk through a large space it stutters HARD. However, games that use less processing power may not be as bad.

One drive from MS is a good deal too. So, you can swap stuff between the cloud and your drive whenever you need to. So, you could leave all your Minecraft stuff in the cloud and just put on the CD drive when you play it.
