I’m asking Steam Deck owners who purchase portable monitors, does your portable monitor have usb-c charging passthrough, and is it strong enough to charge the Steam Deck.
I purchase the Arzopa A1 Gamut Slim 14". While it does has usb-c charging passthrough, it is not enough to charge the Steam Deck. It will however, make the Steam Deck lose 1% charge for at least 10 mins of idling. so for 80%, it theoretically last 800mins which is over 10hrs.
I made this post for future Steam Deck owners who are planning to purchase a portable monitor, will want one that support usb-c 3.1+ with charging passthrough that is enough to charge their Steam Deck, reducing the need to bring additional accessories.
PS: I’m using a bed mount tablet holder for 10" tablet to hold my Arzopa portable monitor to play in bed.
