I’ve been holding out on buying a steam deck in the hopes that a refresh will come along soon, and the OLED is just that. However, though I do plan on playing other games, my main hope is that I’ll be able to use the Steam deck as my main platform for playing Genshin Impact and Honkai: star rail, but I haven’t seen a straight answer on whether that’s a viable option at the moment and if current methods of playing the game on the steam deck are future proof.

Is there anybody that regularly plays one of these two games or even both on the steam deck?

    Genshin works great. Honkai also works great, but the current workaround is definitely against TOS and people have gotten banned with it.

      whats the work around? lately I just strapped a m.2 enclosure with win10 installed to the back of the deck.
