I imagine it depends how well it sells, which we can guess at based on how well the LCD Decks have sold. Do we have any numbers?
Although a better indicator might be how many new games come out with Deck presets. How common is that?

wasnt hdr on linux a huge problem? i am wondering how steam deck is doing it, and are they keeping it open source for other distros to use as well?
They’re implementing it into gamescope, their micro compositor.
However it’s not been terribly good in my experience, 3 different screens all capable of HDR hasn’t worked right.

Why would a revision to a handheld device that hasn’t even sold 5 million units suddenly encourage pc devs do add HDR when they haven’t done for over a decade?
