I have a Lenovo yoga i7 that I bought myself for college at the beginning of the year but I’ve been using it to game as I’m waiting to save funds to get a pc and temps are getting pretty high. I just don’t want to hurt the laptop doing something stupid. Any advice?

Yeah this is pretty standard for laptops. Due to the smaller size it’s harder to get adequate cooling in laptops that can keep it at a good operating temperature under super heavy load. The way they get around this is they just throttle the clock speed and voltage of the CPU when it gets too hot to avoid it overheating. Temps like this won’t damage your laptop, they’re designed to handle it, you’ll just notice your laptop slowing down a bit when it reaches temps that high.
