I couldn’t believe this news about a Steam Deck OLED. It just felt like another spit in the face to people in the Australia/New Zealand market. Official preorders for the original steam deck still aren’t available here. It wouldn’t bother me as much if Gabe hadn’t promised the official preorders would next be opening up in Australia and New Zealand and instead they opened up preorders in Asia. And it’s been crickets ever since.

Can’t wait for a new Nintendo handheld for my want/need for a steam deck to be pretty much obsolete

And to anyone downvoting my post it’s obvious you have no idea what it’s like for your entire country to just get shafted

    While no official support is not ideal, living in New Zealand means having the option to use package forwarding or some other solution to obtain a unit if you really want one, right?

    Edit: I see in your profile that you’re going through a tough time. I can understand this compounds frustrations.
