So I’ve noticed that sometimes when I travel and I have the Deck in offline mode, upon waking from sleep mode, whatever game I have suspended will just hang on a grey screen and be unresponsive. When I bring up the left steam menu, I can briefly see the game still be running in the background, but every time I try to resume it I just get a gray screen and can’t interact. Every single time I have to close out.
And also on the Home Screen when this is happening, my icons on the top and bottom of the screen aren’t there. Like my profile pic, the time, etc. it stays this way until I restart, then it’s fine, but this only happens when the Deck has been asleep in offline mode for more than a couple hours. What’s going on here?
Just FYI I couldn’t recreate this by just simply turning wifi off rather than doing the full offline mode. Left it in sleep mode with wifi disabled all night and I just turned it on and it’s fine. I’ve booted a game and put it in sleep again and I’ll check results at lunch time (I’m at work lol). If it continues to work then I guess it’s safe to assume it’s offline mode causing the bug?
