I recently purchased a base refurbished SD, and since it is in the return window, I expect to be refunded the difference between the old price (€339) and the new one (€299).

By upgrading my SSD to 512GB, the total price would be €350.

With the new OLED version being launched, I am very tempted to upgrade to that one. However, at a 63% higher cost, it seems hard to justify.

As nice as the increased battery life is, I will mainly be using it by a power source. However the better and larger screen is certainly enticing.

Is it worth the additional cost or should I use some of the money saved by not upgrading to purchase some games instead? I have a small Steam library.

I don’t have a deck but to me the oled is pretty useless. If the graphics were going to be crisp like 1440p I would want it but with a worse screen quality, it can kind of hide flaws in the graphics. I thought the screen on the og Switch was amazing so I am dead set on the original steam deck(just waiting for stock).
