    Its a PC In a way it can run windows

    So can the xbox but it is cut down

    deck can run full win 10 and 11 no issues so id say PC

      So, if you abandoned a console for a PC, it makes PC a console suddenly? Man, come on!

    This is easy. It’s both, it has a Steam OS console partition and a Linux pc OS partition (or windows if you choose to install it). No reason to get caught up in terminology.

    People can argue all they want. The fact of the matter is Steam Deck is a portable PC. You may treat it as a console, but nothing changes the fact that it is a portable PC.

    Maybe I’m not into labeling but clearly it’s a Linux based portable pc that can be played handheld vs a laptop with m+K or Xbox controller. Now if you said a Nintendo switch yes that’s obviously a console.
