I am a student and in like two years we will have to use laptops or tablets for school (right now we have to use laptops too but only for stuff like PowerPoint and word and we don’t bring the laptop to school). I am also a gamer and want to try my self in game developing (nothing big I want to try and educated my self in roblox studios) so for these first 2 years I will probably only use my laptop mainly for gaming, small school stuff and things like scripting and render. My budget is from 500€ to 1000€ ( I could go higher but I don’t know if that really would be necessary). It should last long at least 4 years or more. Any advices wich laptop to get? Thank you (Also it would be good if it doesn’t make sounds because of school)
A 1080p/1200p resolution laptop with at least an RTX 4060 or 4070. You will have to lower the quality effects by each year passing. It would cost you more than your mentioned max budget tho.
And avoid any resolution higher than the ones mentioned.
If I were you, I’d build a PC for gaming and game development and get a casual cheaper laptop for school work
Gaming laptops are just meh.
