This may seem like a bit much and silly, but I’m considering getting an OLED Deck just so that I could remote play from my PS4 Pro. If Sony weren’t dumb and allowed the PlayStation Portal to also work with the PS4, I would’ve gave them my money, but here we are…

Remote play works surprisingly well even on my Vita but the screen is a bit too small and I’m not really enjoying big games on it, the Steam Deck may fix that. I have a pretty big library on PlayStation and do not want to re-buy games and just looking for the best remote play device. Can anyone who uses the Deck for remote play chime in?

The Logitech G Cloud might be more suitable for your use case. Because it’s designed just for remote play/cloud streaming, the battery will last a lot longer than on a SteamDeck. It can also do light emulation if you’re into that.

Personally, I was set on getting a G Cloud as I mainly remote play too, but then Valve announced the OLED SteamDeck and I’m not so sure. I guess it depends on whether you’d want a device that can do more than just streaming? If so, a SteamDeck would be better.
