However, your point is interesting in the sense that when I’m speaking to another human, I’m also looking and listening for their feedback. So that’s really dual functionality, not singular.
Typing pure text is not faster than speaking. But the mix of typing and navigating by fingers is more convenient and reliable

True I hardly ever dictate because I have to think of the whole sentence structure in advance.
