Going to a concert, and last time I tried using zoom in that environment, the phone would randomly switch to the x3 camera for zoom and stick to it as soon as it thought it was too dark, even if just momentarily. This is due to the dynamic concert lights, as occasionally it was too dark, but most of the time the x10 camera recording looked far, far better. The segments I managed to have the phone use the x10 zoom look awesome, and those where the phone switched to the x3 camera look just bad in comparison. However, I found no way to “enforce” the usage of the x10 zoom camera other than annoying trial and error, including restarting of the camera app, which is the last thing anyone wants during a concert. Does anyone know if there is a way of stopping the phone from falling back on the x3 zoom cam and just sticking to the x10 zoom camera, even if things get a bit too dark once in a while?
