Hi all,

I was just wondering if this process will be any different with the new OLED model. I have a 256GB Steam Deck LCD and am planning to upgrade to the 1TB Is the 1TB OLED.

I’ve seen this post about cloning the SDD from an old unit to a new one with higher storage. I suppose I’m really curious if the new OLED SSD is any different at all that this process wouldn’t work. Thank you!

    I already did this with v1 of the deck from 256gb stock to 1tb ssd upgrade and it was fun honestly but i have been asking myself the SAME thing i dont know if cloning was going to be an option when theres “new” hardware.
