I just got my 14700k and really happy with the higher clock speed out of the box, but what interested me is also intel application optimization, It doesn’t seem to work for me, i have an ASROCK Z790 PG Sonic and I updated it to latest bios as of this date which says adding support to 14th gen
intel stated that you need DTT software driver support to have it, but I’m unable to find it on the support page in ASROCK website, also when i tried to install ASUS’s Z790 APEX DTT driver it actually installed all, but after restarting PC and opening the app it said “Failed to connect” as you see in the image
note that in BIOS I have Intel Dynamic Tunning enabled
before installing ASUS’s DDT software driver, Windows store wouldn’t let me download the app giving
error 0x803FB005
i contacted ASROCK support about this but if someone found a solution plz let me know, appreciate it

its only supported on asus motherboards.

Yes it’s only installed from the windows store
i cant even get the store to download it.
I noticed this feature popped up in the latest bios update and a few days after that drivers for it appeared on the Asus website for this feature.
Have not enabled it in the Bios as there are indications that it might slow down applications that are not designed to work with it.
This is on an Asus Z790-E motherboard.
