I wanted to make a complaint about the Steam Deck, because I experienced problems with the volume and power buttons. In addition to this, the coating of my left trackpad started coming off heavily on its own - I used it much less than the right one, which looks much better. Steam support is only offering me a paid repair because they say the trackpad defect is not covered under warranty. Has anyone had similar problems? Even if they rule out fixing it, shouldn’t they fix the buttons? I am in the EU.

    How long did you have the product? If you are located in an EU country, you could try and request a repair for free if you quote your consumer rights.

    I would look into it more though as I don’t live in an EU country.
