Hello everyone I was hoping to get some advice. I’m not sure of my sw version I can get that if need but I’m out atm. I’m looking at buying the type folio but I would have to update my tablet first. I have a custom splash screen and templates. I did this about a year ago and seem to remember their was a possibility of bricking the tablet if I went to update it afterwards. Does anyone have insight on this?

If you used something like RCU to upload your custom templates (and I think screens), the first time RCU connects to the tablet after the upgrade it will offer to “re-link” these files automatically. No need to re-upload, or manually edit a JSON file.
