Can anyone please tell me, if there are still updates of LineageOS 18 for my Fairphone 2?

Usually I get updates on the 20th each month, but the last update ist of September, 20th. In the Changelog I can see that there are still android security updates to be included in the next 18.1 build.

    Hello, sorry I can’t answer your question but I was wondering how well the Fairphone 2 runs nowadays? Are you still able to use banking apps etc on it? Thanks!

      Not OP and I replaced my FP2 in May but until then I could use it. Banking kinda worked with microG. Really depends on your bank. Some worked others didn’t.

      Overall the basic day to day worked but it could get super hot unexpectedly and then sometimes shut itself down. Processing was slow and switching between apps quickly was a sure way to overwhelm the phone. Had the FP5 come out a few months earlier I would have bought that.

      I rooted my Fairphone 2 ,using magisk. There you can hide apps like Google apps, corona warn app or other apps like banking aps from detecting that phone as rooted and I was able to certify the Google Play Store. Evering works fine with my phone, I love it and I would like to use further on. I never tried to use banking apps, though.
