Today I bought a brand new steam deck 256gb (still sealed unopened) for 300$. Guy was looking to get rid of it and had the accompanying receipt which he forwarded me.
Is it worth paying 295$ w/tax to upgrade to the oled? I love oled just dunno if I can justify price. I’m a first time buyer of the deck and just playing rpgs (think chrono trigger, tales of arise, etc)

You’d be paying more than that since valve doesn’t do trade ins……
Yeah if I was buying my first Deck right now I’d definitely go for the oled, regardless of the price difference. As someone who’s owned the Deck for two years now I’m probably going to wait for the Deck 2. I think. I’m going to be strong. Probably.
