First of all you need to add Refurbished 64GB Steam Deck to your steam cart. If you can’t add it to your steam cart use steamdb. Add steamdb extention to your browser and force add Refurbished 64GB Steam Deck to your steam cart.

Second you need to add your credit/debit card to steam for fast purchase so that way you don’t lose any time putting your card info during checkout.

Use Distill web monitor (add it to your browser extension) to auto check the Refurbished 64GB Steam Deck page. Look for “out of stock” label and set Distill up to open the steam cart page when there is any change on that label.

Distill will open up your steam cart page automatically in a new browser tab when there is any change on "out of stock’ label. Which means it’s in stock (for me it took around 30 minutes). You need to be prepared! Quickly select “purchase for myself” and continue with your order.

You need to be fast! I took less then 10 seconds to complete my order after Distill open up the page for me. Hope everyting is clear!

I’m sharing this because I see so many of you staring at the monitor and keep refreshing the steam deck page with no hope. Good luck!

After a few days of trying just went with the 512 version, I know the $80 extra isn’t worth it, but oh well. Also decided to get accessories from skullnco. (Also considered jsaux and dbrand)

If anyone (preferably in the Chicago area) is looking to buy a refurbished steam deck, you can instead buy my 2 month old 1TB (upgraded myself from a new 256GB) steam deck for a comparable price.
