My mum is looking forward for a new phone, What would be a good pick? I was thinking maybe the S23 FE would be great! she isn’t interested in a used phone.

Does she need the power of the 8Gen1 or Exynos 2200? Because if not, the A34 or A54 are great options, much cheaper, decent cameras and great screens. If budget is not important, well of course the S23 FE is a great option, but there’s nothing wrong in saving a couple of hundred bucks.

Yeah, you need to define what good quality is for you. The A54 has a full gorilla glass body, 4 years of OS updates, 5 of security updates and great cameras for its price. If that’s not enough for you (which in quality you would be getting better cameras overall, aluminum frame and a more powerful chipset if you go for the S23 FE) then yeah, go for the Fan Edition.

Then the A54 is a pretty solid phone …typing this on it and it works like a champ…and the battery life is amazing i get 9+ hrs Screen on time with bluetooth and wifi on and some light gaming…the perfomance is also great it rarely gives any minor stutters(its only when am opening a lot of apps). Or if you think that it should be a BIG upgrade then get her the base s23

My sister in-law has the A51 as well and is looking to upgrade. I noticed a great Black Friday deal on the S23fe (Koodo in Canada) so I am recommending she get it. It’s about the same size and has better specs than the A-series.

I went from that to the s23 ultra. Why? I don’t plan to get another phone for quite some time. I multi task hard on this phone. I use dex on my projector with my keyboard and mouse. While streaming a video on my phone. Having my headphones and my partner’s headphones connected. Mostly use dex when I need to fill out paper work. Check stocks need multiple tabs open and can click back and forth.

Or have dex playing a video while I game on the phone.

If you don’t mind my asking, wouldn’t a laptop do much better in these scenarios? (Or were you talking about occasionally using Dex for these purposes)
