It has a very low rating and i like playing nba but if it’s almost unusable, i wont buy it.

Seems like a waste. EA killed off all online play for WWE 2022 after less than 2 years (and still was selling it for $90 for just the base game after announcing EOL), so who’s to say they wont kill off 2k24 as soon as 2k25 comes out?

I’ve been playing a lot of MyPlayer lately on 2k23 and it works great on the deck. “Worth it” is subjective, so your mileage may vary, but I’ve definitely enjoyed it and I would presume the new version would be similar.

Don’t know about 2k24, but 23 needs always Internet connection. You can’t do anything offline, and I mean nothing.

If you lose the wi-fi during a game, it gets stuck in the coins screen = you must restart and you’ve wasted 30 mins for nothing.

Plus the mycareer is an incredibly grindy grind. I bought 2k23 for like 9€ but I’m done with 2k at least until a few years from now when I forget that this is a game catered to whales.
