I can’t decide between s90c, c3 or a80l at 77. S90 and c3 are same price, Sony is 200 more, but it’s the dimmest of them all. Samsung looks good and maybe better than c3 to my eye, but everywhere I go and read, ppl say their QC is crap. I have Sony x900f and it’s been the best tv I’ve ever had since I got it in 2019. So quality is important. Is also hard to deal with Samsungs customer support if repairs are needed? Anyone owns s90c and C3 and can speak about their PQ and QC? Thank you.

Not sure if anything changed with the S90 but last years S95 was full of quality issues. Plenty of horror stories on slickdeals & reddit of screens bending or cracking due to a weak frame. There is a TV reviewer (I think it was Tech Giant) who went through multiple *like 4 of those TVs in a short time frame.

I haven’t seen anything on the new model yet and its been a few months since its release so maybe its better.

Personally, I would always go LG or Sony when spending that much + BestBuy coverage since they are the only ones still doing burn in warranty. Samsung panel is the better looking one for sure, but I’d take a small sacrifice for peace of mind. But that’s up to you.
