Has anyone else experienced this? My Apple Watch has been irritating my wrist and leaving a red mark like in the photo. I’ve had irritation from different band options before, and this doesn’t seem to be that, it’s actually coming from the watch nugget itself.

I do workout with my Apple Watch on, but I always let it dry or wipe it with a soft cloth afterwards. Is this a sign that I need to clean it? I’ve tried Lysol wipes before after a suggestion from a friend but worried that will damage the watch long term.

I love my watch and hate taking a break from wearing it due to this. Any suggestions would be helpful!

It’s called contact dermatitis, I had this when I tried sleeping with my watch (basically wore it 23 hours a day). Once I returned to charging it overnight and cleaning the watch regularly - it went away.

Try loosening the watch strap & cleaning the watch + strap with isopropyl alcohol.

If it continues - consult a doctor, not strangers on the internet.
