As the title says. Why are parallel imported Hong Kong model Samsung devices (it is almost always ones sourced from Hong Kong that are the cheapest) compared to Samsung device models from other markets so much cheaper than the same model from another region? Lower import costs or tariffs than other places? Less taxation?

I don’t think that is the case for me. S23 Ultra is $950 in US before trade in from Samsung in US which is HK$7410.
The ultra in the US $1199.99 at MSRP. It only gets to $899.99 during sales like right now.
If you are talking about list prices, they are pretty comparable. That is not this thread is about though.
Are you talking about second hand goods?
