Like the title says, going to get my first steam deck on the 16th with the 512 GB model. Should I be concerned about them running out of stock with scalpers and such?
I say just give up and buy yourself a nice lcd model
They’ve limited it to 1 Steam Deck per account per week. They also said that they expect to have enough stock to meet demand but if they don’t, they’ll put up a reservation system similar to one used when the SD originally launched.

I’d say sure, be prepared especially if you want the 1TB “limited” edition. Funds in the wallet already,l etc…
None of us know what their quantities will be. However, this is discussed within Valve’s interview that can be found in the second part of the “Adam Savage’s Tested” video.
Those days are over. I wouldn’t be concerned.
